Description

Two-time Sundance Film Festival participant and KU associate professor of film and media studies, Kevin Willmott is a screenwriter, filmmaker, playwright, actor and activist. His films include “C.S.A — The Confederate States of America,” a 2004 feature that imagines the fate of the United States had the South won the Civil War. His most recent release, “The Only Good Indian,” starring Wes Studi, was selected for Sundance earlier this year. Willmott grew up in Junction City and attended Marymount College and New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
