Schlotzsky's Deli is best known for "The Original," which has three meats (ham, Genoa salami, cotto salami), three cheeses (mozzarella, cheddar, Parmesan), mustard, marinated black olives, onion, lettuce and tomato on a toasted sourdough bun. The bun is inspired by the New Orleans muffuletta and ? like all Schlotzsky bread ? is made fresh daily in each restaurant.
